I just wanted to share a few words that God gave me during a time of reflection in the woods, at a retreat in April.
God you're so real to me
In the sound of the flowing stream
In the songs that I hear the birds sing
God you're so real to me
In the rocks where the water flows
In the feeling of the cool breeze as it blows
God you're so real to me
On the rocks where the moss clings
To the spider webs made of strings
God you're so real to me
In the dirt where the seedling is birthed
To the fallen tree returning to earth
God you're so real to me
In the leaves that are scattered all around
To the towering trees rooted firmly in the ground
God you're so real to me
In ants and bees and a tiny little flower
That's where you choose to show me your almighty power
God your so real to me
In the mighty oak so straight and strong
But under it broken limbs, what went wrong?
Nothing more than you're awesome plan
This I know but can't understand
But knowing that branch was weak and is broken
You'll use it for good just as you've spoken
God you're so real to me
